With its 1-1/2-pound capacity, this futuristic-looking deep fryer cooks large portions of all your favorite crispy fried foods, from French fries to apple fritters to beer-battered fish, while eliminating the mess that comes with stovetop frying. The unit has a heavy-duty plastic exterior that stays cool to the touch and keeps the chef safe from burns. A power switch and a thermostat that goes up to 392 degrees F are the only controls on the unit, making it simple to master. The professional 1,500-watt stainless-steel heating element is immersed in the oil so it can better maintain high temperatures when food is placed into the fryer.
